PedalPro versus Digital Multi-effects
- Incomparable analogue sound quality; no modelling, just the real thing.
- True bypass of all effects.
- No clipping or distortion due to a limited dynamic range.
- Easy to learn and use. Nothing to programme.
- No limit to the number of effects that can be used simultaneously as opposed to DSPs finite computational power*.
- Quicker access to, and reconfiguration of, all effects' parameters.
PedalPro versus Analogue Stomp Boxes
- Purer and more transparent sound, with lots of harmonics.
- True stereo analogue effects.
- No signal loss, no interconnecting cables or external power cables that contribute to noise and can be a source of sound interruption.
- One Expression Pedal that does Wah, Volume control, Tempo and much more.
- No more two of the same pedals with different settings.
- All new modulating synchronisable waveforms - introduced for the first time. Unique sound control that takes into account psychoacoustic effects for the most natural sound modulation. The ability to precisely synchronise the phases of multiple effects,
ensuring they really work together, but also produce new sounds and
sound hybrids you’ve never heard before.
- Full rig bypass with the push of one dedicated button.
- No more of the crunch noise of old-fashioned knobs.
- Effects that are swappable in the chain.
- Full recall and storage of 500 complete machine presets. Download and upload from your sound library via a USB interface.
- Precise, fast and easy control of your effects’ parameters – and of parameters never before accessible in analogue effects.
- One compact and easy-to-transport unit versus a jungle of interconnecting cables and pedals.
*A digital signal processor (DSP) has a finite computational power. When adding more effects into the chain, the DSP must reduce the number of taps available for each effect in order to spread computational power across the active effects. This reduces the precision - or increases the approximation - with which each effect is applied. None of this happens in the PedalPro, since it is a pure analogue multi-effect.
