Introducing PedalPro’s Filters
The PedalPro comes fitted with two filters – an inductor-based filter with additional features and possibilities (Filter 1), and a solid state OTA type filter with a broader range of sonic capabilities than any OTA filter (Filter 2).
Thanks to the filters' amazingly versatile architecture and PedalPro’s powerful control technology, both filters are capable of operating as at least three different filter types: Pedal filters, Envelope filters, and Auto Vowel Generator filters.
PedalPro also allows you to operate each filter independently (eg. one filter in envelope mode and the other filter as Pedal Wah) and combine them according to the effect you want to produce.
Each filter can be physically connected, disconnected and moved to different points in the effect chain – resulting in an incredible nine different possible configurations of the effect chain including stereo/mono, pre/post combinations
Pedal Wah
When PedalPro’s Filter 1 is used in manual/pedal mode, it produces a sound similar to a classic CryBaby, but with a broader frequency range and an adjustable amount of resonance (Q). Filter 2 can also be configured as a Wah pedal, producing an interesting fat sound due to a frequency range wider than Filter 1.
When the Pedal Wah is used before the distortion, the resonance (Q), frequency range and filter type contribute to produce a very different distortion type that will impress the most demanding musician.
You can also lock your Pedal Wah filter at a specific frequency spot so that as you recall your preset you produce that specific sound, without having to adjust the expression pedal.
Pedal i-yoh, Pedal i-yah, Pedal oo-wah
With the PedalPro, you can create different 'vowel' sounds depending on the position of your expression pedal. It's just yet another amazing sound possibility afforded by this unique device.
