Analogue Effects : Envelope Filters

Introducing PedalPro’s Filters

The PedalPro comes fitted with two filters – an inductor-based filter with additional features and possibilities (Filter 1), and a solid state OTA type filter with a broader range of sonic capabilities than any other OTA filter (Filter 2).

Thanks to the filters' amazingly versatile architecture and PedalPro’s powerful control technology, both filters are capable of operating as at least three different filter types: Pedal filters, Envelope filters, and Auto Vowel Generator filters.

PedalPro also allows you to operate each filter independently (eg. one filter in envelope mode and the other filter as a Pedal Wah) and combine them according to the effect you want to produce.

Each filter can be physically connected, disconnected and moved to different points in the effect chain – resulting an incredible nine different possible configurations of the effect chain.

Envelope Filters

PedalPro allows you to configure the filters to play as classical positive envelopes (touch Wah) or negative envelopes. You can also combine the filters to produce envelope vowels.

Due to the unbelievably wide range of parameters and configurations available, the envelope filter allows you to produce an unprecedented variety of envelope sounds - sounds you've never heard before.

You can even assign to your expression pedal the sensitivity of your envelope filters or other parameters, allowing you to create your own unique and distinguishable playing style.
