Two different compression modes
Thanks to its flexible architecture, PedalPro's compressor works in two different compression modes: Limiter Mode (hard knee, behaving like a limiter or a classic sustain pedal) and Tube Compression Mode (soft knee, sounding like a vary-mu tube compressor).
When the compressor is operating in Limiter Mode, the hard knee compression ensures a long sustain, rendering the output dynamic range extremely small.
In the Tube Compression Mode, the soft knee gently controls the sound peak while the low-medium level sound passes through – a mode great for the rhythm phrase, producing a sweet peak control (Tubegen compressor type) or more sustain on the medium volume notes (Vary-mu compressor type) typical of a vary-mu tube compressor.
Compression sensitivity and attack time can be controlled with an expression pedal connected to the Pedalino Foot Controller.
